Cformix is a highly unusual development studio hybrid of a Windows GUI incorporating a visual editor, query wizard, and a Browser for implementing Internet style user interfaces incorporating Java, JavaScript, VB Script, HTML, DHTML, XML, Plug-Ins, etc all without the requirement for to run a Web Server.

Cformix allows developers to create stand-alone applications from constituent parts. Each part is a module: a unit of function integrating seamlessly JavaScript files, jar files and other resources. Unique capability to develop DHTML (Java, Javascript, VB Script, HTML, XML) user interface for Desktop applications without the need for a web server. Suitable for end users and professional database and web developers alike.

The main features in the current release of Cformix include:

A great editor - The Cformix editor is a very good editor designed for the programmers. Editor features include Syntax Highlighting for Java, JavaScript, VBScript and HTML.

SMALL - The entire Cformix package is distributed in a file that still fits on one floppy (about 1.4 Megs). The Cformix executable is only about 0.5 Mb, and it will run well on slower machines with as little as 16 Megs!
